Sydnie Christmas was a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent this year.

Her audition was aired this summer (even though she actually did the audition back in January, I believe). And it produced a golden buzzer reaction.

Please, if you haven’t ever seen that performance, you must watch it below. She is a breath of fresh air and delivers the most beautiful rendition of the song, Tomorrow, from one of my all-time favorite Broadway musicals, Annie.

And then, if that’s not enough, watch her next performance of Frank Sinatra’s My Way.

Amazing, truly. :)

She went on to win the competition following her final performance of Over the Rainbow, and I’ve been following her ever since.

Maybe my fascination with her has something to do with my childhood dreams of performing on the Broadway stage. I’m sure that’s part of it. But I think there’s more to it.

Having seen so many interviews with her over the past few months, she just looks like someone I wish I could hang out with. How cool.
