Good afternoon, guys!
I’m taking a quick moment here to share with you what’s been consuming much of my free time these days.
Are you aware of the Blake Lively / Justin Baldoni legal drama that is making its way through the federal court system in New York right now? Well, I’m keenly aware of it, as I’ve said so in the past.
Well, I switched gears from maintaining a separate Substack on this subject matter, and I started documenting what I’ve learned about it thus far on our website.
I wish I had done something like this when I did my deep dive into the events surrounding 9/11 back in the day. (Well, I did, sort of. Back then I printed out gobs & gobs of articles and bound them all up in a giant 3-ring binder.)
Anyway, for those who are unaware, there was a movie that came out last summer called “It Ends with Us” based on the uber-popular book by Colleen Hoover.
Justin Baldoni directed the movie and starred in it alongside Blake Lively.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of drama behind the scenes of the making & promotion of this film (& thereafter). The public may not have ever known about any of it had it not been for the NY Times publishing its hit piece just days before Christmas, 2024.
The NY Times article gave voice to Blake Lively’s uninvestigated accusations of sexual harassment against her co-star and uninvestigated accusations of retaliation against Justin Baldoni, the production company behind the film (Wayfarer Studios) and the PR team that represented these people, utilizing personal communications obtained through unethical & arguably unlawful ways.
What followed was a cascade of lawsuits, where parties on nearly all sides of the actual behind-the-scenes drama began to reveal their own version of events. And it has been a wild & crazy ride for anyone following this saga ever since.
The mainstream media & PR machine behind Blake Lively (& her husband, Ryan Reynolds) would have the public believe one set of scandals took place, while evidence continually comes to light showing there was (& is) a whole other set of scandals at play.
If you’re the least bit interested, you can check out what I’ve compiled thus far here: https://wiggleculture.com/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-legal-drama/
If not, that’s okay, too. I just thought I’d share that with you. :)
That’s it for today. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
Sincerely,
Carrie (not Kelly)
