Kicking off the weekend with a morning stroll & a How do you do?
Good morning, sunshine! How are you this fine morning?
The sunshine outside lasted briefly while I took out the morning’s trash. Then it slipped behind the clouds as I took a stroll back behind our property.
When I went around to the front of the house, I noticed a bird perched inside the nest that was built over our front door earlier this week.
It was funny, when I stepped out the front door earlier this week and saw the nesting material dangling over the edge of the screen door (before it was formed into anything), I pulled it all down and threw it in a pile on the porch’s floor near the porch swing.
I thought, I don’t want a bird living up there. But then, the very next morning, all of the material that was sitting in a mound by that pillar had made its way back up to the windowsill. Ha! (Persistent little, bugger.)
So, I decided to let him/her have it. And I’ve been going in & out of the house through the backdoor ever since. :)
What about you? What does it look like out your front &/or back doors this morning? Does it look like it’s going to be a bright & beautiful day where you are?
(They’re calling for 60–73-degree temperatures with partly cloudy skies and a “marginal risk of severe weather” here.)
