Flowers Make the World a Prettier Place
Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day and a Happy Every Day!
When I was walking between the house and our building out back yesterday, something caught my eye that begged me to draw closer to it.

When I walked over to this orange blob of a flower, I couldn’t believe, for being as big as it was, its petals were so delicate & fragile looking. I was compelled to reach out & touch it.
And then I asked, “Where did you come from? I’ve never noticed you before.” (That’s probably because I’ve never been here this time of year before.)
And I looked around wondering if those droopy tendrils surrounding it were all going to pop out just like her. (We shall see.)
Then I began to walk around the property and take notice of all the budding color around me.

I’m looking forward to the coming days when the bud-covered bushes in the front yard here burst forth in all their glory.
But for now, I’ll just appreciate what they have to offer today. (I hope they are able to weather well the frosty temperatures expected this weekend.)
To all you mothers out there, I wish you an early Happy Mother’s Day! And to you, regardless of being a mother or not, I wish each of you a Happy Every Day!
And please know that the above flower snapshots were specifically picked for you. :) I love you guys.
Sincerely,
Carrie (not Kelly)
